The Packing List: Dallas
In just a little over a week, I'll be heading south to visit my friend, Cat for five days. More specifically, I'll be seeing her in Dallas, TX. As someone who's never been to the Lone Star State before, I'm basically just picturing me like this the whole time:
So I'll be trying my best to keep it cool while soaking in everything Dallas has to offer. And by that I mean: stuffing my face with the best Tex-Mex and BBQ around while wearing as little clothing as possible.
In addition to eating ALL THE FOOD, Cat's planned a kayaking adventure and some pool lounging (because she's a baller and has a pool at her apartment), so a bathing suit and some athletic threads are needed. We'll also be strolling around the Bishop Arts district and celebrating the 4th (on the 3rd!) with a rooftop bash and viewing of the legendary Kaboom Town fireworks, so I'll need to bring a few dresses and shirts as well.
I've been instructed to pack light because Cat is planning on sending me home with her famous Texas welcome basket. I literally can't wait.
Here's what'll be in my bag:
Clothing
A couple easy linen and cotton dresses, plus classic denim shorts and tees.
Shoes
Sandals and flats for walking around and of course, the shoes I never travel without: Nike Frees.
Accessories
I love this double pocket cross body bag and classic leather belt. My new favorite sunglasses are these reflective pair from Sole Society.
I'll be sure to take copious notes on my inaugural experience in first class(!) and loads of annoying foodie pics!
YEEHAW, Y'ALL!
