The Playlist: Beach Jamz 2016

Fuck yes, I am going to the beach this weekend. And if all goes according to plan, I will be spending many a weekend more at or near a beach as the summer goes on. This weekend, I'll be in Delaware, and let's be real, most of these beach weekends I hope to be in Delaware, because Ocean City is a hole (a hole that I love for its nostalgic value, but a white trash hellscape hole nonetheless). 

Facebook reminded me that this happened four years ago. Ocean Shitty really brings out the best in everyone.

This morning I came across this power ranking of Maryland and Delaware shore towns. I lol'd a lot because this dude breaks up North OC and South OC and ranks South OC #2, which is higher than everything except Dewey AND WTF WAS THIS GUY TIM EBNER THINKING? Maybe he really likes high school senior week.

Anyway, just had to share that. I'm desperately wishing it was Friday at 5 p.m. already, but it's not. While I'll probably listen to podcasts on the way there, I made a really awesome HTJL beach playlist for 2016. I'm not kidding. It's supes amazing, and if you don't enjoy it, you probably don't like summer or music (and you wouldn't like high school Staci, because many of these are her jams). 

Granted, you probably won't hear most of these tunes at Seacrets. But then again, you wouldn't find me at Seacrets, now would you? Tim Ebner likes it though. He calls it sacred ground.
