Vermont: Shredding the Gnar Over New Years Redux
Stowe was a great place to get my bearings back and was a truly beautiful mountain with tons of amenities and world-class food. Sugarbush was more of a mom-and-pop operation with difficult terrain and much less of a crowd. While I liked both, I think I'll be sticking to Stowe in the future (even though their parking lot seemingly held only 25 vehicles).
With nearly five years of skiing under my belt (yay!), and my very own equipment, I tackled more difficult runs this time around. I paid the price and have the bruises to prove it. But as Mike told me, you can't improve with skiing if you don't challenge yourself. I guess I agree. I mean, bombing down a green run is still fun in my book, but I really got a taste for moguls on some blues.
Besides skiing, I had an amazing time. Partly because everyone we shared our Airbnb with was awesome and partly because we celebrated 2017 with a flight of local brews and melted cheese. A good start if I do say so myself.
Check out my trip to Vermont!

P.S. Don't worry, of course we took the Ben & Jerry's factory tour. Post to come soon.
