Italy: Venice Day Two, Part Two
After six hours of eating, Mike and I were ready to fall asleep, but since we only had about 20 hours left in Venice, we wanted to make the most of it. Mike grabbed the first gondolier we saw and took me on a gondola birthday ride (oh yeah -- did I mention it was my birthday?)!
After the magical ride, we took a stroll on the Rialto Bridge and caught the sunset.
Before dinner, we climbed to the top of St. Mark's Campanile and took in the crazy beauty of Venice at night.
It was basically a perfect start to my 32nd year. <3
