NYC: Industry City Open Studios

NYC

Over the weekend, my family was in town to celebrate my cousin Gabby's graduation from law school (SHOUT OUT TO GABBY!).

Officially smarter than I'll ever be.

My parents, brother, sister-in-law, and niece- or nephew-to-be came into town to hang out in Brooklyn before the festivities. Saturday was literally the worst weather EVER, so we decided to spend most of the day indoors, exploring Industry City's Design Weekend and Open Studios

The six buildings housed everything from a flea market to ceramic workshops to painters to soup dumplings and artisan avocado toast. We wandered around the design exhibits and in and out of stores like Teressa Foglia and Design Within Reach. Unfortunately the vodka distillery and microbrewery were closed for the day, but we still got to enjoy a ton of great food and drink.

Check out our tour of the city within a city. (It reminds me a lot of our trip to LX Factory in Lisbon!)
