Playlist: Asheville & The Smokies

Except for Rehoboth and Baltimore, I have not been beyond the New York tristate area since September 2019, so when I say that I’m excited for a mini getaway to the Great Smoky Mountains, it’s an understatement.

In planning our trip to Asheville and the Smoky Mountains, I put together a small playlist to get me hyped during our short 2-hour flight. The music of North Carolina is hyper-specific. It’s heavy on Appalachia vibes with blue grass, folk music, and a hip-hop style that feels all its own. And it’s really setting the tone for our hiking, eating and drinking adventures in NC.

Am I missing any classics?
