It's that time of the year again! Time to look back on the year that was.
Let's face it, 2016 was basically a load of steaming shit. Basically every other week, an awesome famous person died, there was some sort of national tragedy, and then last month the ULTIMATE national tragedy occurred when We the People elected He Who Shall Not Be Named.
But luckily, Jen and I had a pretty good year's worth of travel with the posts to prove it.

Honestly, there aren't too many things I love more about this blog than our montage videos. Jen does a great job of really capturing how ridiculous and (not too) drunk we are when we travel.
MEXICO: "THIS SEMI-CONCERNING E-MAIL..." (MAY 3, 2016)
When Jen went to Mexico and booked USA Transfers to get her from the airport to her resort, I doubt she knew what she was getting into. The USA Transfers promotional video and accompanying e-mail full of warnings about Mexican pirates (bad hombres, if you will) was just so blatantly racist and downright bizarre, this post basically wrote itself. And I'm still laughing about it.
THE BEACH: THE F'REAL HANGOVER CURE (JUNE 14, 2016)
After my first summer weekend this year at the Delaware beaches I waxed poetic about the oasis that is Wawa. And you were all so WITH ME on that, my tiny heart grew three sizes that day -- due to the solidarity, not the sugar and fat.
CANADA: DON'T SAY CHEESE (SEPTEMBER 12, 2016)
My trip home from our annual HTJL trip, this year to Montréal and Québec City, was a clusterfuck of epic proportions. At the time, it was less than funny (however, I'm still proud of my illegal cheese-smuggling abilities). Looking back, it's so unbelievably bad, it's hilarious.

Speaking of said nightmare trip, I followed it up by relentlessly harassing Air Canada on Twitter until I got my way. In my ripe old age, I've stopped giving any fucks, and if some customer service entity does me wrong, I let them know about it loud and clear. Here's how nasty women get shit done on The Twitter.
