Mexico: #TBT Tulum

Contrary to popular belief, Mike and I weren't in Tulum the entire time we were in Mexico. In fact, we stayed in nearby Playa Del Carmen. Most of our big adventures, however, did take place in the picturesque seaside resort and former Mayan city. Before we befriended all the sea turtles, Mike and I took a walking tour of Tulum city and the ruins that dotted the cliffs. 

Unlike Justin Bieber, we did not pull our pants down while in the sacred city. Instead, our lovely guide Moses explained the history of the site and showed us how to feed the city's many iguanas (hint: they love hibiscus flowers).
