NYC: NYC Half Marathon 2017

NYC

Early yesterday morning, Staci and I (along with some friends!) ran the 2017 NYC Half Marathon. Up until the very last minute, we had no idea what the weather would be like. Luckily for us, it was a beautiful day for a race -- clear and sunny (though still pretty chilly). Staci PR'd the course and though I finished a minute longer than last year, I enjoyed most of the race (though my body begs to differ today).

There were some great signs along the route this time around. Two in particular come to mind -- "You're running better than the government" and "Nasty women have stamina." Thanks to all our friends and family who supported us in NYC and beyond!

Take a look at the race expo, before, during and after the race (...maybe I'd be faster if I didn't take so many photos during the race but that's half the fun -- no pun intended)!
