The Packing List: Sole of the City
This weekend, I'm traveling back to my hometown of Baltimore to run Sole of the City with Staci and my family. In addition to the 10K and checking out Light City, I plan to partake in some delicious food and quality R&R.
Since the race is hosted by Charm City Run and Under Armour, I figured that I'd lean in and go all out Maryland pride with my race day gear. Check out what I'm bringing to Baltimore this weekend!
1. Baltimore Hon Fly Tee $39.99
My mom got me this shirt when I was training for my third half-marathon and has made matching signs to cheer me on ever since. If you're not from Baltimore, you're probably confused by the word play. Visit the neighborhood called Hampden, and all will become clear.
2. Maryland Full Flag Sports Bra $32.99
Most of my tanks either have a low neck or wide arm holes so my sports bra always peeks out. It's nice to have one that's so jazzy.
3. UA Fly-By $54.99
I know Under Armour has come under some controversy lately, but they make a solid product, and I'm not going to burn anything I already own. Plus, they're a race sponsor and employ like half of the city of Baltimore.
4. UA Love Maryland Fleece Hoodie $59.99
A super soft and super cute pullover on is essential following any spring race.
5. Maryland Flag Headband $11.99
There's no such thing as too much Maryland flag. Just ask my brother.
6. Garmin vívoactive HR GPS Smart Watch $250
I never leave home without this one! If you're considering getting a smart watch, this one is my fave.
7. Feetures High Performance Ultra Light No Show $35.97 (3-pack)
My favorite running socks in an outrageous color.
8. Saucony Guide 10 $120
Ok, these might be a little off-theme, but they're my running shoes. Deal with it.
