California: Hiking In Griffith Park

As I read about last week, a few weeks ago, I headed out to LA to film some things for work (and eat delicious food). One of the shoot days was spent hiking in Griffith Park by the Hollywood sign. Though I’d been to Los Angeles a few times, I’d never been in Griffith Park, or even around that area. It was BEAUTIFUL. And not just because we were there during sunset. The views of the city, the Griffith Observatory, and wildlife were breathtaking (literally -- the hike took 2 hours and was straight uphill with filming equipment). We hiked the trail next to the parking lot of the observatory and followed it to the top.

Next time I find myself in Los Angeles, I’ll definitely make time to go back for another hike.
