California: Malibu Vibes
Editor’s Note: Welp, coronavirus happened and we forgot we had this post in the chute! A lot has changed since this was written, but what better way to forget about being confined in your home than a virtual tour around Malibu? Stay safe, stay home, be responsible, wash your hands, and ENJOY!
In addition to Griffith Park, part of the shoot for “Penny Dreadful” took place in Malibu. Yes, that Malibu. The traffic getting there was a joke, but man was it worth it once we arrived. The cliffside beach is everything you’ve heard about — sweeping views of a dramatic coastline and picturesque beach houses overlooking it.

While I didn’t get a chance to actually lay on the beach and take a dip in the Pacific (I was working, after all) I did capture a few shots of the famous beach town.
Between Griffith Park and Malibu, Los Angeles allllmost had me convinced that it rivals NYC. Almost.
